Kingdom Humility
On Sunday, we explored how God was still at work in Acts 4:32–5:11. What we saw was a powerful picture of Christian community—empowered by the Holy Spirit and shaped by generosity and humility. Verse 32, in particular, gives us this beautiful glimpse of what God’s Kingdom is meant to look like. We also took some time to talk about the grip money can have on our hearts. It can tempt us toward dishonesty, fuel an unhealthy drive for wealth, give us a false sense of security, and slowly lead us into pride. And pride? It’s dangerous—it shuts down our ability to repent. And really, being quick to repent might just be the most practical life skill we can have. But when money becomes our focus, it messes with that. It makes repentance harder. God's calling us into something deeper—into kingdom humility. A way of living where the outcast is welcomed, where people find belonging and purpose. A community marked by being of one heart and one soul, where no one is left in need. That’s what it means to live on mission together.
