The Inclusive Exclusive Gospel

In this passage, we see the beautiful tension of the gospel---it’s radically inclusive, yet exclusively found in Jesus. Philip is sent to a foreign, marginalized eunuch, someone outsiders would’ve culturally dismissed, but God doesn’t. As they read Isaiah together, Philip shows that salvation is open to anyone, but it’s only through Jesus. The gospel invites everyone in, no matter their background, but it never compromises the truth that Jesus is the only way.
