Grace Table

Here I Am Lord

In Acts 9, Saul is on his way to snuff out the early church, but Jesus stops him dead in his tracks with unparalleled grace that blinds him (literally). What seems like judgment actually becomes the doorway to new life. God sends Ananias, an ordinary disciple, to lay hands on Saul, and the persecutor of Christians is filled with the Spirit, baptized, and transformed into a witness for Christ. This passage reminds us that no one is too far gone to receive the grace of God, and he may just be pushing us to be the means by which He uses to reach them.
