This Little Light of Mine

In this passage, Jesus tells us that if we’re following Him, we’re like a city on a hill or a lamp on a stand, meant to shine, not hide. He’s not calling us to show off but to reflect His light in a dark world. When people see the good we do, it’s not about us getting credit; it’s about them being drawn to the goodness of God and giving Him glory. All of this is lived from an identity given, not a position earned.
