Prayer in Christ | Eph. 3:14-21

This sermon was preached during our 2024 Ephesians: The Church in Christ series. In today's passage we dove into Paul’s prayer for spiritual strength and how we can follow his example of prayer in humility, in power, and in fullness of love. These three petitions are displayed by his requests to be: strengthened with power through the Spirit, rooted and grounded in love, and filled with the fullness of God. We can pray with GREAT EXPECTATION because God is sovereign and powerful, and He is able! In the words of D.A. Carson, “Effective prayer is the fruit of a relationship with God, not a technique for acquiring blessings.”
