In Acts 17:16-34, Paul enters Athens and confronts a culture filled with brilliant minds, rampant idolatry, competing philosophies, and utter spiritual confusion and disillusionment. He exposes the folly of trying to understand life apart from God and proclaims the one true God who created us, sustains us, rules over history, and will judge the world through the risen Jesus. This is what the gospel will do--confront every worldview and force every person to answer life’s greatest question: What will you do with Jesus?
